It was all about the music

The original My Father’s Place in a former bowling alley in the shadow of the Northern Blvd overpass was a bit homely inside and out.  But what music! Great sound!   Musical heroes up close!  And a laid-back atmosphere not typical of music venues of the day.  This laidback approach enabled me to bring my Pentax K1000 and Vivitar telephoto lens inside to preserve my personal remembrance of the experience.  I never thought what I was preserving would be of interest to anyone but me.  Now I know differently.  It is time to share.
